Lionel Richie

Lionel Brockman Richie, Jr. (born June 20, 1949) is an Academy Award and Grammy award-winning American singer, songwriter, record producer, and occasional actor, who has sold more than 100 million records.

The Grammy-winner was a founding member of The Commodores in the 1960s, but broke away in pursuit of solo success in 1982. After splitting with the band Richie went onto find international fame and fortune and released a string of top ten hit singles, including Hello, Dancing on the Ceiling, and All Night Long. In the past three decades he has released eleven solo studio albums and has sold more than 100 million records worldwide
